Paul Grange

My earliest memories of being an artist was drawing the bones of dinosaurs at the American Museum of Natural History in New York. Through observation and interpretation, my passion for drawing continues today.

A graphic illustrative image can be a snap shot of the impending crisis of global warming, diminishing middle class and the erosion of one’s self worth through the identity crisis.

Employing the use of metaphors with striking images one can achieve the transition from a state of apathy to a sense of desperate urgency. Using a bold assertive style—art will inspire, influence and motivate. Hence, Art and Activism can be realized.

Several of my illustrations were selected for the
School of Visual Arts Continuing Ed. Arts & Activism Event
